It’s [now] a sin
I have to repost this gem from from Joe.My.God. The Catholic Church — the wealthiest church of all time — has added seven new moral sins to their list. “Genetic modification” is the one I find most disturbing.
“No, little Johnny. You can’t have your diabetes cured using genetic modification. That’s a SIN!”
Vatican Adds Seven New Mortal Sins
The Vatican has updated their hit list of mortal sins, adding seven “modern” no-no’s:
1. Genetic modification
2. Carrying out experiments on humans
3. Polluting the environment
4. Causing social injustice
5. Causing poverty
6. Becoming obscenely wealthy
7. Taking drugs
Holy hypocrisy, Batman! Causing social injustice? Causing poverty? Becoming obscenely wealthy? Clearly, the Il Papa is going directly to hell in red Prada slippers.
Well, I have my own list of seven mortal sins that should be added to the list:
-
Selling penis enlargement pills on TV (you’re so going to Hell, Smiling Bob).
-
Voting Republican
-
Driving a Hummer in the car pool lane
-
Enabling Britney Spears
-
Downloading more porn than you can possibly masturbate to in a lifetime
-
Watching Fox News
-
Making fun of Pope Benedict’s fabulous red Prada slippers
